No surprise anymore, this has been the craziest season. A high ranking is the kiss of death.

Beat that "Team up North", win the BCS Rose Bowl, and we still finish as one of the top five teams in the Country.

No trophies for top five unless it's 1st.

I honestly never thought we would have a chance at a BCS game let alone make it to the championship game. I know it sounds like sour grapes, but I'm still shocked we had a chance and would not be upset to see them play in the Rose Bowl- something I haven't seen in 10 years. We will lose one senior from our starting lineup (OT Kirk Barton), and have one of the best recruiting classes for next year, so this loss would hurt more if it was next year.

I'm hoping that Oregon makes it into the BCS Championship game. Then it could be Ohio State vs USC in the Rose Bowl. That's a nice matchup, but I think USC would work over the Buckeyes pretty bad.

We play them the next 2 years so I'd be hoping for a matchup that would only come in a bowl game like Oklahoma, West Virginia or Georgia

dude, southern cal hasn't and isn't going to work over anyone this year, let alone the buckeyes.

well, except for nebraska...but besides k-state, who hasn't this year?

USC hasn't been working over teams because they play in the Pac-10. When they go out of conference they will crush teams.

people rooting and defending conferences is tired and hackneyed

you would never spend 100 bones on a pac 10 starter jacket

The Big Ten was 3-1 vs the SEC last year...all while being unmatched. Big Tens #3 playing SEC's 2 and so on..

where were you the last 5 or so years when the Pac-10 was a joke?

I'm just not for saying one conference is better than others strictly by one or 2 games a year.. Every conference has it's ups and downs

not like Oregon State,Washington State, and UCLA (the only team to lose to ND)

Oregon State,Washington State, and UCLA would all roll most teams in the Big-10 and Big-12.

Notre Dame could finish with 3 wins this year, 2 coming from Pac10 schools and the other might be Duke

Tlong if we see some Pac-10/Big XII Bowl matchups this postseason I will bet you money if it turns out right

I know you're rich but I am talking a gentleman's bet, mostly for bragging rights, like 20 bucks or so, we'll talk more about it when the bowls are actually announced. Surely this won't be a big deal, I mean since the Pac10 is so unbeatable, right?

Good thing you didn't add the Big East to the list as Cincy "rolled" Oregon St. already, 34-3. Interestingly, USC only managed to beat the Beavers 24-3.

OSU has a 1st year starter at QB. They would beat Cincy if they played now.
