I am having a problem with my daughter's computer... I think it needs windows reloaded or something. It keeps on popping up "windows installer" over and over again. I have tried new virus software, and found nothing. I have tried turning off automatic updates, etc. and still does the shit.

The computer is not recognizing the wireless anymore either and I can't fucking unload it and reinstall cuz the bitch ass won't let me.

Does somebody want to fix this mofo? I can drop it off... I would like to salvage it...........

Also, I still have the P3 500 in the garage... :lmao

Help!

you can try and see what happens....all you'll lose is the programs you've installed since then (and some updates), but it's worth a try....

Do you have the Windows Operating System disk, (Windows XP, 2000???) or do you have a vendor (Dell, Gateway, HP) set of O/S disks?

Also, do you have 2 different Virus vendor disks? One from McAfee and one from Spybot or Norton or ???? The more virus detectors the better.

IF you have all of these you can reformat your hard drive, reload the O/S, reload the virus software and then and ONLY THEN should you connect to the net and download the upgrades from Windows Update.

Sounds like you have a corrupt computer most likely from either a nasty virus/worm/trojan/bug OR someone has deleted key parts of your O/S lately.

...have you cleaned up your computer and removed all kinds of old programs that you don't want anymore within the past week or so?

oh - for the command - unplug the internet - (you do not want to be connected to the net until your vermin detectors are installed). Then insert the O/S disk, then reboot (START->STOP->RESTART). The disk will prompt you all the way through the process. Key questions/answers are: reformat the disk - YES.
You will lose everything currently saved - your bookmarks, address book, documents, passwords - everything! ...maybe you just want to try to correct the installation first - could be worth the shot....same basic steps but when it asks if you want to reformat answer - NO. Then the O/S disk will go through and try to fix anything missing or mangled... might work... Good Luck!

...can we get a a vBookie on this? I bid 8 hours, and swearing in at least 3 languages....

Sequ's computer sucks. I hate when Pop puts it into the game. I've been telling you all along that Sequ's computer is a scrub. Why'd we sign it to a new contract in the offseason?

Sequ's computer blows. GMAFB.

If you have Windows XP, turn the computer off and then turn it on and start hitting F10 until the System Restore comes. Click the Quick Format (Destructive option), where it deletes everything in teh computer and restores it to factory settings. Wait like 15 minutes and then restart and it and you have to set it up all over again and re-install all the updates. I think the main reason this happend was is because you didn't have enough virus protection/updates to cover to the amount of Porno your daughter has been watching.
