Im stuck in Ft Worth and I am wondering if the spurs will play on FSN up here. I hope so because there's not much else going on up here. Thanks for the help.
It's showing here in Austin.
Do you know if you get Fox Sports SouthWest or Fox Sports MidWest?

I think its fox sports sw but I have to check
Yeah, see if you can go on your cable providers site to see or something. If it's SW then you should get it.
Like I said, here in Austin we only get the games that play Nationally or on FSN, so I have to get my Spurs fix when I can.

It appears to be fox sports southwest so it should show tonight right?
Seems like you should be in good shape.

Obviously a moot point by now... but assuming a Spurs game would be on in DFW because it's on FSSW is the same as thinking the Mavs or Rockets games would be on in SA when on FSSW... and spurs fans from SA know this doesn't happen.
Fortunately I've figured out this year DirecTV is carrying all three FSSW feeds, the Houston, the Dallas and the SA feed. The Dallas and Houston feeds have the Mavs and Rockets games blacked out but at least I'm assured of finding the Spurs games now.

I signed up for DISH to see the Cowboy games and now discover I can't get any Spurs games because the Mavs are on FSNSW. Can't afford to sign up for Direct TV too. Looks like I won't be seeing a lot of the Spurs games this year.

Don't mean to make it worse, but you signed up for DISH to see two Cowboy games. The rest of them are on free TV all year. You should have gone to a sports bar. Fuck the NFL, anyway. Greedy bastards. If Stern can't beat the cable companies and dictate terms with his own network, no one can.

I wondered the same thing when I first moved to the Dallas area. My answer to you is DON'T COUNT IT. Ft. Worth is still considered Mavs TV market. Therefore, you'll likely only receive Mavs telecasts.
FSN DOES NOT show "out of market" games. That's why I finally subscribed to NBA League Pass. I'd contact your local cable subscriber to be certain. In the meantime, I'd advise you make other plans to see the game.

It's true. The NFL and it's owners are greedy bastards. They already have the most popular sport in the country. They charge the most for their NFL Ticket ($249). They "whore out" their product to damn near every network for billions of dollars, all at the risk of over saturation. Was that enough? No.
They had to start their own exclusive network and then "steal 8 games" out of the schedule package and broadcast there too. Do you think they gave the networks a rebate for these games? I think not.
Now they have the audacity to try and convince us that we should cancel cable and subscribe to satellite TV just to get their batch of games. While in the process, they want to paint the cable providers as the bad guys. It's an insult to every cable subscriber. It's a damn shame they resorted to this. I'd love to have the NFL network again - as a premium channel that I have the option to add or delete at my discretion. But not for the cost of converting to Direct TV. They can rot in hell before I convert.

I am in Arlington and the paper does not have the Spurs on tv, but I do not care because my Aggies are on ESPN2 in the NIT against Ohio State.
