From NBA.com:

.709 Spurs winning percentage over the last 10 years, the best winning percentage of any team in professional sports over that span.

Combined with 4 championships over that time span, its a pretty powerful arguement that the Spurs are, in fact, one of the top 5 teams in NBA history.

Just noodlin' before I doze off...... :sleep

The Duncan teams/Pop organization Era is Golden Age of Spurs Basketball.

And it has some years to run, yet.

It's kind of a stupid. It's hard to compare winning percentages in different sports....leagues don't have the same amount of games and certain leagues have more watered down competition. If a team wins 80% of their games in basketball, they're at a healthy 66 wins (close to the Mavs last year, or Pistons 2 years ago). In baseball, they'd win 130 games....which would be ridiculous.

Still, I'll take it, and it is pretty rad.

Yup...the Spurs are the most successful professional sports franchise of the past decade...and yes, they are a dynasty!

It gets mentioned during basically every nationally televised game during the playoffs, and often during the regular season.

I'm kinda sick of hearing about it :lol

There was some other stat I saw somewhere, something like having the most consecutive 57+ win seasons (7). Only the Celtics have accomplished this too.
