FYI, there are also some new restaurants down there close to the arena: House of Blues and Luna de Noche. Both very good. N9NE steakhouse and Nobu, both expensive high end place but good.

And the Bar at the W Hotel accross the street from the arena is pretty happening before and after

The TRE is also a good option if coming from the Fort Worth side of the Metroplex. But please, be careful in traffic if driving and obey the rules of the road.
