How bad was it to have Tim Duncan out for the season on a game that really didn't matter?

What was Pop thinking?

I'm thousands of miles away, with no TV coverage, and all I read is "down goes Duncan", and "he's out for the season". If anybody is kind enough to expand on this, my fingernails -or whatever is left of them- will surely appreciate it.

He hurt his knee in the 4th quarter

They said he's okay, that there was no concern.
He walked off the court at the end okay.

Manu dumped the ball off to Duncan on the baseline and Tim went up to make a short shot. When Josh Howard rotated over and bodied-up on Tim, they banged knees.

I think I saw Sevening take a look at it, but they didn't ice it and since the conclusion seemed forgone, Pop didn't risk putting him in. The starter of the thread is a douche, though.

Duncan did go down! So the subject at the time was legit. If it was Dirk that went down everyone and there mother would be cheering!

Outside of Philly and Seattle, who cheers when an opposing player goes down?

I'm sure you'd be hard pressed to find even one person in here cheering an injury to Dirk

Fans welcomed Horry back. So what are you trying to say?

Horry fouled Nash hard. Nash flopped and started a fight. Horry was suspended along with the guys that wanted to fight. Why do you want to blame Horry or Spurs fans for this?

I am sick and tired of people telling that Horry fouled Nash when game was decided. Let me see. Team's best player will be on bench once outcome is decided. Otherwise it is like insulting the opponents. So is Nash trying to insult Spurs by staying in the game? Amare told he came down to enter into game. If game is decided by then, why should he come in? None of those shits are making sense.

Spurs are the last hope of keeping the NBA a non wussy league. Duncan needs only 1 knee and Ginobili could still dominate with no feet.

Ginobili: "I ain't got time to bleed."

Nash is tough though. :ihit
