Spurs are 15-6 against Nash's Suns. They're the LEAST dangerous of all the top contenders for us.
It's just doesn't matter how many times we beat them - assuming they aren't dangerous to us becaue we beat them more times is like expecting the mavs to choke every year so we don't ahve to face them ever during play offs. Phoenix has a sick team - if they get to defend more they would be unstoppable. Houston has a terrific team but can't get past the first round. Dallas are perennial chokers.
Phoenix has beaten almost every other team except for the spurs when it counts. Our series with phoenix last year was highly contested and one of the hardest we ever played. They could have won as well and we played great basketball. Dallas beat us while we played like garbage most of teh time.

I don't know about you, but whenever Spurs face the Suns, anything less than a win spoils my day. Our victories over those suns are becoming redundant and boring. They habitually lose to us, whenever Duncan decides the game's over.
Dallas is a more dangerous opponent for me.

Why don't Spurs run more screens for Barry? Seems like that would get some buckets.
Because Pop has to run everything for Duncan in the fourth, even if he's playing like a pussy and throwing up lame jumpers.
Why is it that Tim can't ever finish a game strong when he starts it strong?
What is sad is he was having such a strong night offensively (25 points in the third) and then he started looking for the refs to bail him out. Whenever he does that, his game goes in the shitter.
And whenever he does that, Pop should recognize it and go elsewhere until he sacks up again.

Not a great game but the Spurs win. Interesting to see the Rockets without T-mac. They have a deep team and I thought their defense was maybe a little better without him, but they missed his scoring.
Parker is playing crappy, but he did hit some big shots tonight. I thought Barry played well and it always seems like things go good when he is in the game.
Houston has the potential to win a championship, but their challenge will be staying healthy and having the stamina in the playoffs. The West is so deep this year that every series will be against a tough team like Denver, Utah, New Orleans etc.
Yeah I was never really worried that the SPurs would lose despite the close score. For some reason I thought they would win whether the game was close or not. I was more worried about Bonzi playing well and he didn't, which fucking made me furious. FUCK.............Then Alston who averages like 1 assist per game decides to get like 8. Everytime this happens to me, I play the safe route and input so and so into my fantasy roster and he fucks it up while some other person on my roster plays decent. I pray to god Cassell has a horrible game.
