True.

Wally killed Bowen. Durant killed Manu. Tony shot like crap. Tim couldn't rebound. Spurs defense sucked.

Spurs Win! :tu

At 12-2, Spurs are off to their best start after 14 games in team history .

Generally when does the Spurs D kick in? After the AS break, RRT, 3/4ths of the season? I'm more comofortable with relying on D, rather than O, because the team may go on a drought, but we can always fall back on the D.

and Matt Bonner wasn't too shabby either.

not trying to be negative, but who have we played? The ony true win versus a good team was Orlando at our home. Lost our chance to beat Houston and Dallas in their building. Lets give it some more time before we all bring out the band wagon.

I was just stating a fact from the game recap. Nothing more. Nothing less.

The Spurs can only play the teams on their schedule.

Well, considering the Mavs are losing to teams the likes of the Pacers, Blazers, etc. I'd say there's no real easy win these days in the NBA....

Spurs are just extremely better than the rest of the NBA. Shit.. they just cakewalked through the playoffs with the same team.. what do you expect?

We've had awful runs in years past against schedules like we're now facing. If the Spurs always made hay against the weak sisters like they're doing now, they'd have played .800 ball in the Duncan era, not .700.

They're playing lazy first half defense lately, but they clamp down in the second halves. Seattle only got 37 points after the intermission.

not only are the spurs winning, you actually might've just contributed something also.

Eh, the Spurs know how to flip the switch.

That was evident in the second half.

Oberto played well, Bonner played like Bonner can.

Barry was again agressive.

Another night another win.

Nothing that bothers me from tonight honestly.

Amazing how quickly the team gels offensively when you bring the exact same team back from a championship year. Nice of the Spurs to give that route a try.

Talking about Bowen and Zcerzbiak, There is a video highlight on ESPN.com about the Wally abuse on Bowen...Makes you wonder how Bowen could own LeBron so badly four games in a row in the finals, doesn't it?

If you were really a cavfan....

Wally is able to play like this ones or twice per year. It still wasn't enough to win, so?

Didn't you know, Bowen always plays soft on Sczerbiak after that Drop-kick incident... After you've kicked some guy in the teeth, you have to back off a bit.

I remember the Spurs' 13-3 start in 1999-2000.

That season ended well.

You mean when the Spurs added Nick Van Exel and Michael Finley? You're right, same exact team as 05.

Actually, didn't the Spurs start off really good in 04, 02, and 06 as well? It kind of worries me also that they're playing good. Although, they haven't really faced many good teams you can argue. Aside from Dallas and a McGradyless Rockets team and Magic.

The Spurs also started the 2005 and 2007 seasons well.

Are people really concerned about a bad start? There are many other basketball-related things more worthy of concern. Here are a few:

- Injuries
- Lack of talent
- Bad coaching
- Meddlesome or apathetic ownership
- No shot at winning a championship
- Disgruntled star player(s)
- the Atlanta Hawks
- Ugly dance team
- Antoine Walker

Would you people prefer that the Spurs were 8-6? Would that be a better situation than the present one?
