This is it - playtime is over vs. teams like the Celtics. Suns and many more tough games upcoming in near future.

Time for Spurs to get real serious and play like 2nd half Wolves on a consistent basis.

Here's predicting they will and end up at end of January with no more than 5 more loses. This team will pull together and do it, despite a tough 35 days ahead with about 19 games (last time I looked) putting them about 36 and 11 heading into Feb and beyond. This will set them up for a run at 63 games and a dog fight with the Suns for the #1 seed.

Phoenix will be the toughest test since Seattle.

Portland
Clippers
Indiana
Lakers

I consider them mid level teams that the Spurs should beat by double digits.

^I hear ya! Another hot team for the super heavyweight, proven, championship-caliber San Antonio Spurs to square off with during the marathon regular season.

Its also gut-check time for the Suns and other wanna-be contenders as well. After all, they will soon be facing one of the league's consistently greatest teams over the last decade or so in the San Antonio Spurs, this year's league leader in most relevant defensive statistical categories and on a mission to claim the franchise's third championship.

Put it this way; I ain't sayin' "eek" exactly yet.

"Portland
Clippers
Indiana
Lakers"

Most people, esp the red-staters, will consider this "elitist", but punctuation marks really are useful and important:

@Portland
@Clippers
@Indiana
Lakers

:)
