The PGA tour has a thing in common of getting pissed off when they are losing and acting immature.

I think he (Lebron) wanted the Sportscenter highlight, in addition to the winning bucket pertaining to his shot selection.

Yea I saw him spit at the Cavs' bench during a preseason game a couple years ago. He has always hated Lebron for whatever reason

In a game the Spurs were owning the Celtics in the Fleet Center a couple of years ago, he started committing hard fouls on Tim Duncan because he was losing. He walked around with this hard look on his face like he wanted to fight somebody.

I hope he never sniffs a championship much less the Finals.

Some of the most competitive players are the biggest pricks who do whatever it takes to win. Not everyone can lose with class. You might not like the fact Pierce is an ass especially when he loses. Some fans (not all) and plenty of coaches love that kind of attitude in players where that player hates losing so much they'll do almost anything to win.

There is a difference between hating to lose and pouting like a little kid that didn't get his way. I would classify Pierce as the latter.

I'm not defending how Pierce acts or criticizing anyone who thinks he's a dick or an asshole. If that's how you feel, fine. I'm just saying if you have that kind of guy on your team, you might think differently, even if he's pouting or doing stupid shit like picking fights.

yeah I know. I'm sure you will hate him after he plays the Pistons this year. In years prior you didn't mind him because he was a baby on the worst team in the EC. Now he has just turned into an all out bitch, and everything is magnified when he is playing your team.

It's a vague memory, but I still remember when Pierce was hit in the jaw lightly in the playoffs one year, and tried to make it look like it was so severe by wrapping it up in a rubber glove or some shit during the press conference. :lol

If the Cavs somehow win 50 games, I'll say he has a good chance. He's a fuckin' beast on a team with Zydrunas Ilgauskas as probably their second best player.

But I can see people being mesmerized by the 'KG turnaround', even though he has two other Superstars while discounting the injuries/tanking of the C's last year.

Bron's statline is what? 31 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds? I say a 48-win season and he wins the award. That is not easy to do, not easy at all.

I get what your saying. I guess it's the Bruce Bowen syndrome. Everyone outside of San Antonio hates his guts. But we love him.

I'm glad Lebron got the W. Oddly enough, I really like him as a player this season. Unlike many other 1 man players in the league: Kobe, TMac, AI/Melo, etc. he plays a great all around game and clearly is carrying that subpar Cavs team to wins. And he does it all without complaining publicly :tu

The Celtics bench spent as much time standing as sitting, and Cleveland's reserves, too, were involved from the outset. Tempers flared late in the first half when Cavs guard Devin Brown got into an exchange with three Celtics, including Garnett.

This win by the Cavs just proves that they are still a legitimate contender in the East. Of course, like what KG endured in Minnesota, LeBron doesn't always have stellar play from his teammates. Drew Gooden has to bring that type of intensity every night.

The Celtics are reminding me a lot of that Piston team of two years ago in which they'll get off to a great start, but will eventually fizzle out late in the playoffs due to bad coaching and thin depth.

JamStone

Even though a championship is or should be the ultimate goal for every NBA team, I think if the Celtics make it all the way to the conference finals and lose, they'll still feel that the season was a success as opposed to the Pistons who considered it a big disappointment in 05-06.
