I've been soaking up the wiki the past few days and saw the AFI's new list of 100 greatest movies.

Which would be the top ten you've seen? (can't count if you haven't seen it)

Mine would be:

1. Casablanca
2. Waking Life
3. Sleepless in Seattle
4. Seven Samurai
5. Ghost in the Shell
6. You've Got Mail
7. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (i'm a bookworm, so sue me)
8. Ninja Scroll
9. the LOTR trilogy (counts only as one for me)
10. Akira

Those are the best of what I've seen (you can tell i'm that young) so what are yours?

10. Jungle Book (Disney Cartoon): Great music. Can't wait to have kids to give me an excuse to watch it again.
9. L.A. Confidential: Love this film. Fucked up, but great drama.
8. Spaceballs: The only comedy to crack my list.
7. Batman Begins (holding out hope for TDK as well): Loved Batman growing up. Only comic I ever truly cared about. Great beginning to what should be a great end...
6. Primal Fear: Gave me chills watching Aaron devolve into Roy.
5. Training Day: I love Denzel as the bad guy, and Ethan Hawke is a favorite actor of mine. Great drama.
4. The Bourne Trilogy: Nothing need be said.
3. Glory: Great acting from top to bottom.
2. Shawshank Redemption: Just a great film all around.
1. Dead Poets Society: No film had a bigger impact on my life, plus it's a great film with a sickening, but harrowing ending.

which "The Professional" is that? the Luc Besson one? my next ten would be:

The Professional[LEON] (love that...but can't make it to my top ten)
Grosse Pointe Blank
Shawshank Redemption
Escape from Alcatraz
Escape to Victory
Groundhog Day
Serendipity
Scent of a Woman
Nikita
Legend of 1900

can't really include "300" to my list cause I've only watched it once and can ONLY watch it once. Probably the Best Movie I've seen, and will probably be the measuring stick for every movie I'll watch after it, but I can only watch it as a movie. you can't watch it on a small screen....it ruins the experience. :D
the rest I can watch even on a small screen and it'll still be good. :D
