Now that's the kind of class and human empathy I expect from Cowboys fans.

Yes it was. The outpouring of emotion was amazing from those inside the staduim and around the league. A fitting tribute.

Oh wait....i'm a Cowboys fan....i am supposed to be hateful and nasty about this because after all, ALL Cowboys fans think alike.

That's a little extreme. I must admit, I'd love to see the Redskins post an 0-fer record every season, but your statement just seemed harsh.

It was an awesome tribute to Taylor to start the game. And a good laugh for 'Skins haters to end the game with Gibbs' unsportsmanlike conduct penalty making that a pretty easy FG.

I am a lifelong Redskins fan, and while Gibbs gave us the greatest years in franchise history the first time around, back in the '80s and early '90s, I believe now it is time for him to step down as head coach. With the exception of that awesome 5-game run at the end of 2005 and the playoff win against the Bucs (thanks, ST...RIP, bro), the Gibbs Part Deux era has been largely a failure. So much talent, so many weapons, and they just can't seem to get it together. Way too many injuries every year, too...either the Skins are just plain unlucky, or they have the worst conditioning program in the NFL. Gibbs I went for the throat. Gibbs II plays scared.

Simply put, the Redskins SUCK right now. Plus, they just lost their best player forever. NFW they are gonna even sniff the playoffs this season.

Oh, yeah, they have to play the Bears on Thursday night, too. :dizzy
