Some personal thoughts:
1. How much longer can the Knicks stay #1 on this list while losing more than $40 Mil per season?
2. How different would the Mavs look on that list if: a) they could win another playoff series; and b) they were no longer paying Michael Finley?
3. So many thoughts on the richest man in the league (Paul Allen) owning the least-valued franchise in the league (Trailblazers), but mostly this: does the fact that losing millions of dollars, for Allen, is about the same as any one of us losing a nickel make the Blazers a bit scary in the years to come? I think so...
4. Didn't Cleveland used to be in the bottom five on this list? God damn, LeBron is an owner's dream.
5. It's easy to see why the Sonics -- and neither the Hornets nor the Kings -- will move soon.
