I never expected them to beat Utah without TD. As an overall team these guys have risen to a challenge better than I've ever seen a Spurs team go without TD. Amazing job attacking the basket, Ginobili had 19 FT and should have had at least 4 or 5 more.

How bad do you have to feel if you're Utah? You come into SA with a full roster playing good ball and you get ground into the court by a team without Duncan.

How shitty does Utah feel about now?

Utah's team have class. They don't whine. The whole package. If they had a little better supporting role, they would defintiely be a power to reckon with at the highest level.

They have been struggling on the road, so this Utah loss is not a huge surprise. Great win though!

with that huge fg% discrepancy, i really don't understand how the hell we pulled off the win.

The most surprising thing to me is how the Spurs were able to pull out their traditional lock down, get stops D late in the 4th to seal the win even without Duncan. Except for the missed switch by Bonner on the 1 second inbounds play and Bruce stumbling to give Williams an open three, the team didn't give up much and really nothing in the paint.

IN fact, the only scored by ways of FTs for the last 8 minutes of the quarter or so.

They seem to have a hell of a lot more class than the Mavs, and Suns combined.

Williams hit the three when Bowen went sprawling. That was the only FG in the last six.

Hmmm....I should probabily go back and pull up some post from a week ago when T.D. went down. I said this would be GOOD for the Spurs.

BUT NOOOO.....Oh we're going to do so HORRIBLE....BLAH BLAH BLAH

Spurs are truely an underrated team.

By the way, if Utah had a better 3pt portfolio, tehy would be really really good.

Utah just matches up poorly with SAS. Unless they absolutely dominate the Spurs on the boards (which they've done in the past), they're going to have trouble ever getting over that hump in San Antonio.

I agree with the above comments regarding Utah as a team. Compare them to the Sons. No whining, no bitching even if things go rough for them. Generally a class act.

Boozer is for real, and Williams was almost Parker's Daddy. But parker redeemed himself
