Here is the seeding for if the playoffs were starting this week. Just making this thread to keep up with the seeding and wild card race.

AFC
1. Patriots (12-0)
2. Colts (10-2)
3. Steelers (9-3)
4. Chargers (7-5)
5. Jaguars (8-4)
6. Browns (7-5)

Wild Card Games

#6 Browns @ #3 Steelers (PIT beat CLE twice in regular season)
#5 Jaguars @ #4 Chargers (JAX beat SD in regular season @ JAX)

NFC
1. Cowboys (11-1)
2. Packers (10-2)
3. Seahawks (8-4)
4. Bucs (8-4)
5. Giants (8-4)
6. Cardinals (6-6)

Wild Card Games

#6 Cardinals @ #3 Seahawks (ARI beat SEA in Week 2, plays @ SEA this week)
#5 Giants @ #4 Bucs

Vikings and Lions (both 6-6) on the bubble in the NFC, may come down to the final week to determine tiebreakers. Seattle seeded over Tampa because of a 20-6 victory in Week 1. Titans (7-5) and Bills (6-6) on the bubble in the AFC.

If the Cardinals lose to Seattle, I don't see how they make the playoffs. They'd have to win out at New Orleans (doable since Bush is now out), vs. Atlanta (another doable game) and vs. St. Louis (wish a healthy Jackson a BIG concern). They are so fucked by injuries I'm completely preparing myself for a 7-9 season. They may have the most missed starts of any team in the League with starting OL Ross missing the entire season, starting OL Brown missing a few games, WR Boldin missing a half-dozen games or more, WR Fitz missing a game or two, QB Leinart missing a dozen games and DE Okeafer missing the entire season, DE Berry missing a dozen games, DB Green missing a half-dozen games and S Wilson missing closer to 10.

That's a whole lotta injury to overcome for such a young and inexperienced team. There've been a few other lesser injuries with Dockett and Dansby missing a game each, I believe.

I'd love to see Cleveland win out, I'm very pleased with their season so far. :clap

I'm not..the Cowboys have their first pick in next years draft...should have traded with Miami instead...we could have had the number 1 pick next year.

Going into MNF/Week 17...

AFC
1. Patriots (15-0)
2. Colts (13-2)
3. Steelers (10-5)
4. Chargers* (9-5)
5. Jaguars (11-4)
6. Browns (9-6)

*Will own #3 seed if they win MNF vs Broncos by virtue of better conference record than Steelers.

Wild Card Games

#6 Browns @ #3 Steelers (PIT beat CLE twice in regular season)
#5 Jaguars @ #4 Chargers (JAX beat SD in regular season @ JAX)

On the Bubble
Titans (9-6) - Make playoffs with win at Colts in Week 17. If TEN loses, CLE is in regardless of W17 win or loss.

NFC
1. Cowboys (13-2)
2. Packers (12-3)
3. Seahawks (10-5)
4. Bucs (9-6)
5. Giants (10-5)
6. Redskins (8-7)

Wild Card Games

#6 Redskins @ #3 Seahawks
#5 Giants @ #4 Bucs

On the Bubble
Vikings (8-7) - Make playoffs with win and WAS loss. WAS clinches wild card with win.

Forgot New Orleans JT. Know it's an outside shot but if Dallas beats Washington and Denver beats Minnesota and New Orleans win, they are in as the 6th seed.

I'm figuring Dallas will mail it in since TO got hurt, they don't want to risk anyone else getting injured, but yeah.

I'm getting tired of these media guys arguing that "Rest = Rust" and saying the 2005 Colts blew it by benching starters early. I'm sure Tony Dungy's oldest son committing suicide that year had absolutely no effect on the team's focus going into the playoffs. The rest probably had something to do with it, but that wasn't the reason.

The Titans will probably get in since the Colts are going to play W17 like a preseason game. Hopefully they get beat early, I'm pulling for the Jags to be the Golden State Warriors of the NFL, they are built to beat the Pats.
