View Full Version : Real Talk: F*ck The Pats!!

The Pats season is TARNISHED, no matter how they finish. Game 1 should've been forfeited, after irrefutable proof they cheated (and cheated in all 3 SB's). Goodell is a crook (like Belicheat) since he never investigated the extent of their cheating. Pats fans are idiots if they can't see the obvious. - And now, the Pats are only winning b/c they were publicly humiliated & embarrassed, w/ ZERO dignity, when they were exposed as frauds & cheaters. This is their "motivation". What a joke

Look for the Jets to spoil their fraud of a perfect season next sunday.

LET'S GO JETS!!!!!!

You'd win a championship ring before the Jets would beat the Pats.

I do find it interesting that the media and the league quickly swept the cheating scandal under the rug. I also find it interesting that all of their video evidence was quickly destroyed.

Very, very intriguing. Reeks of the NFL hiding something.

If they go 19-0, the media will act like it never happened.

According to the media, they already are 19-0 and nothing ever happened.

It sure does. Something along the lines of a league-wide scandal where it's revealed that every other team does the exact same thing. I can see why the NFL would want to hide that and leave the Patriots out to dry on it.

Agree.

The fact of the matter is....They still cheated, therefore even if they go undefeated this season and win the superbowl, they will always have an "*" to go along with whatever they accomplished. They also have the worst fans in the world not to mention the bandwagoners. So what if they are going to go 16-0? So waht if Brady and Moss are putting up career numbers for 1 season? Let's just not forget that they still cheated all of a sudden.

I still can't believe you try and pawn it off on the entire league and continue to defend your teams cheating ways. It's fucking pathetic.

why would the NFL care that much about one franchise? If this was simply an isolated case, it would do Goodell well to completely ruin the next 5-10 years of one franchise with punishments for the better good of the league. The Patriots could have served as an example of "this is what happens to cheaters". One franchise being done in like that wouldn't kill the NFL, and every other team would never dare try cheating again.

Obviously this is a league-wide issue that Goodell doesn't want exposed (which would kill the credibility of the entire league, rather than one team). So instead of creating a huge deal out of it, he gives the Pats a decent punishment (fuck what you say, losing a 1st round pick is a BIG DEAL) and sweeps the rest of it under the rug for the good of the entire league.

And any team worth a shit changes their signals every week.

No, I meant your claim that there was something else that was not revealed because the tapes were quickly destroyed.

The reason Brady is having such a good season is because Belichick has Brady and Moss on his fantasy team... case closed...

I think the video tape thing isn't a big deal. I guess you could call it cheating but an attentive person with a good memory and a notepad could do the same thing.

I don't recall Belichick eavesdropping on opposing sidelines. If he did, then I would agree that is cheating.

I agree. And just because they video taped signals doesn't really give them time to use any of them. Do you really think they would have time to video tape the signal, tell the D coordinator or another coach, and then relay that information out to the field before the snap?

I'm sure all teams do this type of thing, the Pats just got caught. It probably had no effect on any game what so ever. People are just pissed because they are so good.

The jets also videotaped the pats signals last year http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3151217 (http://)
A security at the Gillette stadium called in for a radio show and said that when they catch somebody videotaping they escort them out of the stadium. He also said that it happens often, that the jets took it to another level because they called the NFL.
This also might explain why all evidences were destroyed so quickly. The pats could prove that most teams were doing it.
This shit is closed

Bullshit it's a big deal...if it was a big deal..they should take away the pick they got from the 49ers which will probably be the 2nd pick in the draft instead of the 30th pick the Patriots got.

That pick isn't the Patriots pick. It's the 49ers pick given to them via trade. And nobody expected it to be the #2 pick in the draft. Tough shit.

and how could you possibly say that ANY pick in the 1st round isn't a big deal?

bottom line is that 1st round picks hold extremely high value in the eyes of GM's. to lose one is ALWAYS a big deal.

I wouldn't mind if the pats get the 2nd overall pick and have to pay that player a shitload of money, thus making it more difficult for them to resign this years MVP, Randy Moss.

He could have an incentive-based contract that says they can't franchise him if he catches X number of touchdowns or if the Pats win X number of games. Asante Samuel is probably out of NE next year since he his contract says if the Pats win 12 games or more he can't be franchised again.
