why Tim Duncan a 2-time season MVP and 3-time finals MVP has to stand(standing ovation), every time Bonner makes a 3? I can't count the times I noticed that. :lmao

You know, we need more offense than defense. We should trade Bonner for Dirk and a first rounder right now. I don't know though, he might be worth even more in a few games.

he did ok, but just one game - the rest of the games he plays like crap. Let's see if he improves going forward.

Seriously can you imagine if we had scola out there tonight instead of bonner?

Bonner proved tonight exactly why we paid the kid out

He stretched the floor but unfortunately his teammates failed to capitalize when the defense adjusted.

Given the minutes and if he plays against people who are 10 inches shorter than him on a regular basis then yes.

Dear Timmy,

Tim, thank you for the 4 rings. In recognition of your effort, you will now come off the bench, just like Manu, and with lesser minutes. In cases wherein Bonner will be out because of injury, suspension or because he's overweight, you may start the game.

Bonner will be the new face of this franchise.

Again, thank you,

Pop

No need to overreact on this one. All this game proved is that good, tenacious rebounding skills are a great weapon against "donut-holed", tricked-up, small-ball lineups like GS and PHO.

I remind everyone that Andrew Bynum had something like 25-17 vs Nellie's renegades on Sunday night. Also Nazr put up something like 30-15 versus the Suns in a road game victory a couple of seasons ago.

I woulda traded Bonner for Dirk yesterday...not today.

Mebbe Dwight Howard and a 1st rounder.

A franchise player?? Let's not get carried away... but dude was a F'ing animal last night!!! No doubt about it.

I look forward to seeing what Bonner can do with more minutes. If he could work on his post-up offense, he may develop into an all-star player one day.

would love to see consistent effort from him, especially at the defensive board.

Well, at least his game last night should serve to shut up those that keep saying he doesn't belong on this team.

Give the guy his props.. He hustled for rebounds and was the only
Spur shooting consistently.

Hell of a game, Matt. Even if it was in a losing effort.
