and the block attempt is something we always see from manu, he's so craayzay!!

Amare knew from the begginning that they were gonna lose, so he just put some numbers by his name to make up for it... since he wants to be called the stat.

Manu was out of sync in the third. Hesitating to take OPEN shots.

I think it started from his 3 that went in and out in the second.

But he was disruptive on defense and had a solid overall floor game.

Not a great game, solid at times and a little unfocused and wild in others (pretty much just the beggining of the third).

Manu did make several sweet passes to wide open players who missed their shots or fumbled the pass... so he probably would have had 10 assists.

Watch some other basketball besides the Spurs TPark...Jason Williams totally elevated his game after being coached by Hubie...with an assist/turnover ratio now of 3/1 plus almost 2 steals per game white chocolate has grown up into a legitimate consistent pointguard and I personally give Hubie a lot of the credit...

Hubie's really polished the kid up.

Damnit, more than anything this was about Manu challenging the beast that is Amare Stoudemire. Reminiscent of the Finals when he ripped the ball away from KMart to start the run.

Manu got called for a foul when he challenged that Dunk attempt by Amare, but it was CLEARLY an offensive foul.

Amare cleared him out with his left hand.

I was about 30 feet away.

Amare did have a nice dunk. Timmy was a step behind, on Amare's hip on the play and Amare sealed Tim with his left elbow and jammed it home with great ferocity. Timmy didn't even jump and held his hands up, as to say, I'm not fouling - it's all yours.

Manu challenges lots of shots and dunks, but then again, so does Marion and Q-Rich and others who can really elevate for their size. Manu's wasn't all that special. What was special was Manu's fast break pass to Devin for an And-1. Manu was leading the break down the middle. It was a perfectly timed no look bounce pass that arrived in perfect position to catch and convert.

Another special moment was Manu's drive to the hoop where he ball faked and body faked two Suns and layed it in with a sweeping left hand. He looked like Elastic Man.
