...mainstream media doesn't think this is newsworthy (?)
It's at the top of the drudge report right now, but apparantly it's not as big a story as Romney crying on Meet the Press.

There are quite a few instances of the mainstream media one must question. I thought surely that an endorsement from Barry Goldwater Jr. would be newsworthy as it most certainly was when Bob Dole got it, as when he was winning straw polls all over the country as Ron Paul is now. Alas both extremes are ignored by the the mainstream media.
The final number looks to be around $6.4 million although no one is positive as the server crashed at the end of the day as everyone rushed to get in their donations.

The main stream media isn't going to report a story about a guy that most of their target audience cannot identify with. Newsworth =! ratings.

the thing with paul is turning his support into actual votes. unfortunately the electorate is largely made up of older individuals steeped in mainstream politics. supporting someone like paul will take these traditional voters beyond their comfort zone.
it's a shame. it's why the entitlement programs will never face any significant changes. at the end of the day old people vote and young people post videos on the internets.

Well young people are also putting a lot of money where their mouth is. The evolution of the internet is phasing out the MSM little by little. Its taking more time than I'd like, but there will come a day when the baby boomers who love CNN will not be the major demographic.
Then again it'll probably the dumfucks who love MTV so maybe we are fucked.

Ron Paul's going to be on Glenn Beck for an hour at 8:00 and 11:00 central on Headline News.

It was on at 6 also...very good interview. Ron was on for the entire hour and Beck let him talk and get out the message.

Wow, is Paul is totally nuts, obscured with a mild, serious manner. He makes a lot of sense on some topics, but no IRS? pure stinkin libertarian bullshit.
Seriously, have no taxes and abolish the IRS? I don't need to hear anymore, no matter how reasonable it might be.
Beck said something like "If we weren't both men, I'd French kiss you". :lol
Why are badass conservatives so fucking girly man gay? :lol
Paul's roadkill. He's got no support from the Repug elites, and no $$$ from the corps. dubya burned through $200M in 2000. How much does Paul have?
The big problem for the Repug leadership and the corps is hick Huck.

Interesting way to put it...
I never thought you'd be a fan of the IRS, given that the big corporations use all kinds of accounting methods to avoid paying their fair shares.
