i know videora makes a sweet, free iPod video converter. i imagine the zune accepts the same formats.

im curious to see how this works to because I have a zune as well and never really used it for videos but this is something i wouldnt mind knowing......

batman....did you get that last update that was released.....tell me this how do you sync you playlist with out it becoming a bitch and having to wade through gigs and gigs of music....i have my music sorted by play list like rock hip/hop and so fourth i want it to be sorted by those folders when i open up zune so i can just go there and add the new songs in that folder to the playlist saved on the zune.....and then I will re-sync and then it automatically deletes all my other songs....kind of pissing me off

I bought the cucusoft converter... $30. The "free" version puts a watermark right across the video after you convert it. I tried maybe 10 or so different converters and none of them either worked well for me or were just a pain in the ass. The cucusoft one is VERY VERY VERY simple - so much so that I didn't mind paying the $30 for it. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and have very easily ripped episodes off of TV DVD seasons and also a couple of movies straight off of dvd. There are options to optimize stuff, but there is also just a basic setup where you just identify what you want and all of the standard settings are just fine.

i bet the zune software will locate those iPod videos. you should be able to put them on easily if you already have them in an iPod format.

Zune changed/upgraded their software/firmware a few weeks ago and I hate the new software. The firmware is cool but the software is horrible - it's like it took 4 steps back.
