Mine's 5.

Seems like my best seasons in sports (basketball, baseball & track) were when I wore that number. Any season I didn't have that number, regardless of the sport, seemed to be a little less successful.

Yours???

5 ... it's my favorite number. :)

Although on our softball team it was 17 ... I like that one, too.

I've worn 16 since my team won the UT coed soccer intramural title twelve years ago. And I never wore that number in any other sport before then.

Yeah, it's definitely sad. But I played a lot of intramurals and that's the only time I ever won my free t-shirt.

You didn't like running around with hot young athletic girls at Notre Dame?

I've never played sports, don't own any jerseys. But my jock son has worn #34 for about 5 years now.

I had different numbers for different sports, based on uniform sizes and positional requirements.

I was #7 as a soccer player in my best years in that sport.

I had my best baseball seasons wearing #17.

When I was young and athletic, I was a pass-catching #44 in football.

When I got older and lineman-esque, I became a run blocking #51.

I liked to think that the numbers had good seasons when I wore them, though. :)

I've had 33, 23, and 10. Always wanted 20 or 22 but they were always taken.

I've always been #7 in hockey and soccer.

I have no idea why, either.

I wore 25 most of the time in football (except for that weird experiment when they played me at center, then I wore 70) Playing center was fun because one year our school went to 8 man football. I learned to hike the ball to the back in motion without having to look back.

In college I wore 5 most of the time in soccer.

I could have mentioned that I didn't wear a number when I was a swimmer. . . .

When our basketball team sucked and I was easily the best player (surely there is no correlation there?) I wore number 13...

When we had a good team, and I was no longer the best player and merely a starting shooting guard i wore number 22... We won a lot more games with that number! (And even made the finals)
