I don't know if any of you read CMJ, but my favorite part of my subscription to this magazine (other than it's turned out to be free), is the cd you get everytime. I LOVE each cd that comes because it's a random mix of GREAT music, and I get to discover new artists.

I got my new issue yesterday, but as a suprise there was an issue at home that nobody had given to me, so I got that one a few months late also. And that one had 3 cds (hell if I know why I got 2 extra cds, but I'm happy), so right now I'm in the middle of an all CMJ marathon.

Have you heard this band before Manny? They are absolutely incredible, this song is from their new album Welcome To The North but I haven't heard the song yet. Rob Harvey has an incredible voice.

Alright...but have you heard The Music before? Their debut album is incredible. I bought it when it came out a few years ago and I was hooked. My friend and his ex saw them at Lollapalooza when it came and had pictures taken with them.

I used to get CMJ about 8 years ago, damn time flies. Great way to get turned onto new bands. I found out about Ben Folds Five and Cibo Matto through their CD's. Didn't even know they were still around! Wowsers.

Manny you should check out Embrace as well. They are a good band. Their new song Gravity is really good. It was written by Chris Martin(Coldplay). But the rest of their songs are awesome.
