Seriously though...this is pretty intersting. I sympathize with their plight, I understand their anger...but their culture was defenseless and that's why it got it's ass kicked. This is what happens when cultures refuse to evolve with the changing world, it's not a matter of right or wrong, it's evolution at work.

And it's absolutely a battle they cannot hope to win. And the day America stops progressing and starts clinging to the old ways, is the day it will happen here as well.

Truthfully though, I've always wanted to adapt certain aspects of the Native American way of life...but I'm not sure exactly what they are hoping to reclaim with this gesture...the day of buffalo hunting and living freely off the land is long since passed. I didn't say anything about a Black Nationalist Government. Blacks in America should remain in America, and live under its laws. I am advocating the the seperation of Blacks from the predominant White society as this is still a White man's country, and White man's rules, and us fighting for inclusion in the White man's world is not the right way to go about things. We need to look out for ourselves, educate our own children, build and repair our own image, (as the White media has screwed that up) have our own busineses etc., and for the government to leave us the hell alone and stop trying to "fix" things because it only compounds the problem. The only thing I look for in the government is to protect my basic Human Rights.

Right now Blacks don't have a leg to stand on as we are too dependant on others to employ us, to educate us etc. Blacks when we were segregated knew that they weren't going to be getting any favors from the government or anyone else and we built our own societies within America and the Black economy was booming.
