Just got through making a couple of batches of fudge for Xmas and the crumbsnatchers have descended on the remnants left in the pot like vultures on fresh road kill.

Today's batch is:

4 sticks butter
8 cups sugar
4 cans evaporated milk
2 jars marshmallow creme
3 large Hershey's bars
1 large sack semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tsp vanilla

Hey, it's the holiday's, you need to splurge.

I coulda sworn this was going to be one of those threads about the kids catching you and the wife "hanging ornaments."

I know when I saw it for myself, it spooked me.

That's the same fudge recipe I use (only you've got it doubled).

Damn good fudge. I haven't made any yet, and probably won't until we get to my moms house.

But yet - your kids are gonna be wired. :lol

Is that your holiday specialty? My dad has a special dish he makes for each holiday. I like hearing every Thanksgiving "Did Dad make his Waldorf salad?" My husband doesn't cook much, most of the time it's just some disgusting "invention" :lol
