PJ deserves a head coaching job.

Good for him. Hopes he gets it if he wants it.

Wonderful.... Pop coaching by himself now? That would be a nightmare.

I thought cooper was gonna take the job over for the rest of the season?

I heard Cooper was brought in with the understanding that he would eventually get the head coaching job. I also heard that the job is Cooper's to lose - he's the favorite to get it.

This sucks! Our offense will go into the toilet again without PJ!

See the Memphis and Toronto losses if you doubt this.

The more I think about it the more I realize it would be a mistake for PJ to go to Denver...

#1.Denver kind of took a big dump on Bzdelik...what makes PJ think he would be any different?

#2.I wasn't impressed with PJ as an NBA head coach in his first two stints. It's not like he is going to win a title in Denver. He's not as good of a head coach as Pop is...

IMO, he should bide his time, win rings in SA, and learn how Pop runs a team...then take over for Pop when Pop steps down and the system is well established and in place. I think that would be good for the Spurs and good for PJ.

Wonderful.... Pop coaching by himself now? That would be a nightmare.

Nonsense, that would give Pop a chance to bring in long-time favorite and noted NBA genius Tim Floyd, unless he's taken the U$C job.

I think Coach Carlesimo is a great guy and deserves the best. I would be really sad to see coach go, so I am hoping ( selfishly) that he doesn't take the job.

PJ is a defense first coach, and I read that that is what Denver is trying to get away from - they'd like to become more like Phoenix and Seattle.

I also have been thinking for awhile now that PJ is being groomed as Pop's replacement when he decides to retire...

PJ would be a good fit...I don't think 'Mello is the "choking" type. :)

Would PJ (Fordham/Jesuit) have the patience to put up with with Denva's ballas?
