Since the starters are a voted in, which players would you choose to fill out the rest of the All Star Roster?

I could care less about the East..

Since these players are likely to be the starters:
G - Kobe
G - TMac
F - Garnett
F - Duncan
C - Yao

That leaves 7 players...

I would do what the coaches in the East did last season and go with 4 additional guards or g/f's on the bench...

The rest of my roster would look like this:

C/F - Brad Miller
F/C - Dirk
F/C - Amare
G - Nash
G - Parker
G - Ray Allen
G/F - Manu

The only guy I might be dissing is Mike Bibby..but fuck him, I get sick of seeing the batboy on TV anyway. The less I have to look at his ugly ass the better...and his stats are only ever so slightly better than Parker's...basically he's a better FT shooter than Tony...that's it.

And BTW, Ray Allen's stats are not as good as Manu's in nearly every category...the only difference between them...Allen takes more shots per game...and misses a lot more.

Kobe shouldn't be starting the AS game.

I'd be suprised if Marion wasnt a reserve also

I think both Manu and Parker will have a very difficult chance to make the All Star team this season.

Kobe probably should be starting. Even though he has a low field goal percentage, his team does have a winning record, he's second in the league in scoring, and is solid in rebounds and block shots.

I think its gonna be hard for Manu and Tony to make it too, despite the fact that I would rather see (and it would be more justified to see) Parker be starting Center over Yao Ming since He probably scores more points in the paint.

Vote: Suckass Chinese Centers for President!

Marion is a deserving reserve...but I'd still go with Manu and Parker...Manu because he is fun, Parker because you need a true back up PG on the AS team...

Ditch _irk for Marion then. And no Peja this year either.

Parker and Manu are not All-Stars.

I am surprised that KOBE is getting voted in by the fans.

McGrady's numbers are not spectacular this year.

Dirk should start.

Which of the Kings and Suns do you take?

Kirilenko is nasty, but hurt.

Manu and Parker will split whatever votes they get. There will be some pressure to get two Spurs on the team, but I don't see either one deserving it yet. Tony can make a push for it if he keeps up his strong play for another 10-15 games. Manu has been below-radar for too long now.

Probably only 2 Suns will make it: Nash and either Amare or Marion. I wouldn't have a problem with all three making it, given PHX's record and weak bench.

Unfortunately Yao and T-Mac are stealing spots from those more deserving.

I would go with:
Allen
Nash
Amare
Marion
Dirk
Brand
either Miller or Webber

AK would be an honorary pick.
