Not trying to be a grinch, but the tree is starting to bug me.
Needles everywhere, there's no way to keep up with them.
The wonderful fresh tree scent is gone.

When do you take yours down?

I just leave mine up.

My living room is getting cramped and the squirrels are starting to piss me off.

I wanted to keep it up longer but I'm leaning towards taking it down tomorrow.
Grinch or not, it got old fast this year.

thats what we used to to do was leave it up till the 6th when the three kings would come...but now in my house me and my wife brought it down today and well just leave a gift from the three kings under our kids bed

and we dont even have a real tree...the tree did what it was post to and is retired until next year

It came down on the 27th...the cats climbed up the damn tree when ever they had the chance. Luckily, only one ornament was broken this year.

:lol

I had a pair of kittens once that did that. They would climb up the trunk, ornaments would fly off!
The tree came down early that year.

I've got 4 cats now, none of them have ever climbed the tree, but they all love to sleep under it.

Well my oldest kid is serving a 2 week hard labor sentence so it will come down before his time is finished!

The kids are sure more willing to help put it up than take it down!

We'll probably unplug the fiber-optic tree and put it back in storage tomorrow. This year was just not Christmas-y at our house for some reason. We just weren't gettin' into it. December was just too busy at work or something.

Here's to 2008 being not so damn busy. :toast

We've never done the real tree thing at home. It's always been an artificial tree.

In fact, my mom bought yesterday for next year at Target that is like 7 1/2 feet or something and prelit and something else for like 150.

When do you take yours down?

When I need more firewood.
