My IE was messing up after it automatically downloaded the last update. I don't like Firefox myself, just tiny little things that bug me. So I switched to Avant and I haven't had a problem since.

Me too.

Me either, but I'm trying to adjust.

One of the little things that irk me in Firefox is that the offline | online markers on this site don't show up in Firefox.

Actually, that is number one on the list of little things that irks me about firefox. That's why I use Avant, it is basically like IE after the last update, but without all the bugs and the layout and toolbar at the top is much more user-friendly, IMHO.

Since we're talking problems with IE7, could you people that have it mosey on over to http://www.ksat.com and click the Hot Button in the upper left, please?

I had a viewer complain about it not going to the page and weirdly enough, it happens to me, too. The problem is our help desk can't replicate the issue on their end.

Avant is IE - just a different interface. There's quite a few "browsers" out there like that, kinda like Firefox is actually just an interface for the Mozilla web engine.

Um, that's what I said, isn't it? :rolleyes

I realize Avant is IE, but it doesn't have all the bugs that IE had since the last upgrade, hence it is better (for me at least).

You said it's "basically like IE" ... not the same thing Mel. Either way, not sure how it'd get you past any "bugs" in IE because it's being generated by the same engine. I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you, I was just providing some clarification if anyone wondered.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks.

It really seems to be intermittent. My help desk couldn't replicate it, but i guess if a lot of people have the problem, it gives them something to go off of.
