55-10 in favor of the Pats.

I don't think Jax can match up well against the pats. Brady to Moss will be the highlight of that series, but with that said...... They will go down to the Colts in the AFC title game.

Brady isnt letting this team lose. He wants a 4th ring and so does this entire team. The God of all Gods in Belichick wont allow us to lose either. UNBEATABLE 19-0 record.

I can see you are a true Boston sports fan but do you think Manning doesn't want his team to lose either? I think the Colts are gonna have more intensity than the Pats in that game. plus the Pats are going to be favorites and the colts will have a chip on their shoulder because no one is respecting them for being defending champs and still have a possibility of going back to the SB and win it all.

I agree to a certain extent. Weather can effect the Pats but it also can effect the opposing team as well. Plus Brady and Moss that's all you really need. But it has to be the defense that steps up in order for the Pats to win

I just think that Jacksonville's running game is superior to New Englands, and a snowy windy day will help the team with the better running game

Even if NE wins, Jax is going to beat them up physically, and that is a good thing for the winner of the INDY/SD winner.

I think under the right conditions (Windy, Snowy) Jacksonville has a real shot to win. Under normal conditions, Pats win bigExactly. This game will come down to the weather. If it's bad weather, I think Jacksonville takes it ... and maybe pretty easily. They just have the much stronger and tougher team. Bad conditions would make the old Patriots defense look even older.
However, if the conditions are at least decent, New England will romp.
Patriots have a dome team offense. Case closed. If it's a snow/freezing rain game, they're going to get beat.

I think the combo of Taylor/Jones-Drew is gonna wear the mess out of NE's old ass defense.

I'll be interested to see what the game conditions are, but I wouldn't count out the Pats in bad weather. The champion's grit and experience will make them a tough out no matter what the weather.

I agree. Their offense matches up very well against the Patriot defense.
But I think it will comedown to how well that Jaguar defense deals with Brady's quick passing game.

Bad weather forces them to rely more on their running game. I don't think that bodes well for them against the Jags. On the other hand their LBs have been owned by RBs lately. If Willis McGahee was dragging three, four defenders over the first down marker you don't think Taylor and Jones-Drew will do it too? Bad weather that limits the plays NE can make downfield is an intangible that is highly in Jacksonville's favor.

You make it sound like the Pats have absolute no ability to run. Maroney has shown to be more than capable when he's not hurt and that O line has shown an ability to run the ball when they need to. Also, bad weather will hamper a lot of the deep routes, but the Pats offense also uses a lot of west coast inspired drag routes, slants, and screens to the WR, especially Welker. The weather would help even the game and make the teams closer, but by no means would it completely cripple the Pats.
Yeah, Maroney tearing it up against the Jets and the Fish really makes me respect his talent. The Jags can stop the run, so I like their chances against Maroney and Faulk.

If it is bad weather, we will use one our elite back in Maroney. The kid can play when he is given carries. So can Faulk. The Pats D will shut down the Jags run attack. This is the best battle tested clutch unbeatable defense in the league. Plus the GOD of all NFL football coaches Bill Belichick will have a great game plan ready. The champions are ready for Saturday night!

So the Pats are going to shut down Fred Taylor and Mojo Drew when they couldn't handle Willis McGahee? Dude. It's your team that needs to hold up its end of the bargained and get exposed as the most overrated piece of shit in NFL history 2 weeks from now in Foxborough.

I thought the Pats did a really good job of running the ball tonight against a defense that is good at stopping the run. They also showed that if you don't get pressure in Brady's face on a consistent basis, he'll pick just about any coverage apart. Take Randy Moss away and Brady will exploit gaps by hitting Welker and Stallworth and Gaffney and others.
I think Patriots fans might worry a bit about how easily Jax seemed to move the ball at times tonight; but I thought the Pats did a good job of tightening things up when they had to in the second half. Their umbrella 2-deep shell in the back tonight -- very similar to the umbrella coverages that Belichick used as Giants D coordinator in the mid-80's -- kept everything in front and didn't give up huge plays, forcing the Jags' offense to be patient and allowing the Pats to vary their looks as the ball neared the goalline. It will be interesting to see if they stick with that bend-but-don't-break mentality next week.
By the way, a 10-day forecast for Boston shows Sunny with a high of 28 (and low of 15) next Sunday.

Incredibe game by Brady. Obviously, that was one of the greatest playoff performances in NFL history.
I would like to give props to the Jags for fighting the entire game. I thought Garrard was amazing. His receivers dropped two huge passes, both in the redzone. But he didn't help matters with that fumble in the 1st half. The Jags played the classic bend but don't break defense. It didn't seem like they blitzed at all.
I guess the question is, can the Patriots fulfill their so-called destiny?
At least Shawne Merriman didn't get caught ordering HGH on the internet in his own name. Stay in school, kids.

Patriots win again 31 20. Brady on fire again. colts/sd chance of winning about 4%
I can't wait until Baloney tries to run it on the Colts and gets a hot, fresh plate of Bob Sanders served up in his grill.

Well, that pretty much sucked.
Congrats to mono and his Patriots. You guys got scoreboard, and that's all that mattered.
Maybe next year your team and my team will meet again and the results will be in my favor.
The rest of you Chowdah-head fans/trolls can eat shit and die.
