I'm curious, we haven't seen a new uniform in....forever. Any chance we getting one, ever?

Also, I'm not too much into the throwback dates.

When spurs using the silver?

correct me.

I like the Silver ones.

I think our uniforms can last for a few more years, we are winning, so don't change anything.

Aren't we lucky we have Black and White as our main colors?

Totally badass..

Who has the worst uniforms?

I say Charlotte.

there was the change in logo in 2003 to the present one and the number style also changed for the 2003 season. The numbers were a solid black now they have a silver trim around them.

The Spurs have one of the classic uniforms in all of sport. Aside from minor revisions (one of which was made prior to the first season in the SBC Center), it is highly unlikely that there will ever be wholesale changes to the home and road uniforms. The "alternate" (currently silver) uniform could possibly be redone every couple of years, but even that would have design limitations, as I believe that the NBA stipulates that the alternate uniform must be significantly (if not totally) based on a real uniform from the team's past.

I think Boston's are too plain.

I would like to see a return to the old Road uniforms with the "San Antonio" across the front in the silver outline.

We should bust out this logo for the next retro nite....

The current ones are only in their third season. While it is true that only people with 20/15 eyesight or better can distinguish between the new ones and the old ones, they are technically *new.*

Uniform changes between now and the end of time will involve just the trim.

It would be cool for them to do a "Future uniform" game like baseball did a couple years ago.

But even though we KNOW that the Spurs' uniforms are probably the best in the NBA, they weren't even close in a voting the NBA.com website had.

I don't think we're getting votes because it's still the same, and they mentioned it in the descriptions...did ya'll see that?

I like the Sixers, T Wolves, and Spurs.

No it wouldn't.

Fair enough, I'm not talking about a radical change a la Mavs opening day 2003, anyone remember those? I just mean a remix of the silver, black, and white. If done well it would be interesting to see.

I would like to see the Sixers go back to a red, white and blue color scheme. I like the T-Wolves colors but not the letter style or those funky numbers.

I want the uniforms left alone as they are now, the Silver and Black is classic and the logo and designs are sweet.

I like the idea Mikey, i would definitely like to see "SAN ANTONIO" on the black Road unis, just like they do in baseball, they have the city name on the road uniforms.

but all in all, no changes would be ok.

I wonder if they'll switch though from basic NBA Tank Top to those type of Uniform tops like the Lakers wear, i dunno what you call them but its that style

correct me.

Last year or so, they wanted to change their standard white jerseys into silver ones. However they had to ask permission from dictator Stern. So, I don't know if they're still trying to get their home jerseys turned to silver.

Those numbers are pretty messed up.

I like the Sixers blue alternate road jersey.

These are new! It took forever to get rid of the faggy green and pink trim that Charlene McCombs stuck us with because it was supposed to look like 'fiesta' colors.

Be grateful for small favors.

You mean like how the Lakers had the white home jerseys and the gold ones?

On a further note, have the Spurs even pulled out the silver jerseys once this year? Sure as hell doesn't seem like it.

yeah, I would like a permanent alternate jersey like LA, Philly, Miami and others have. No, the silver jerseys have not been used this season.

Jeez, people, what do you want, the Spurs to be like the Rockets or the Nuggets, pulling out new ugly "modern" uniforms every 3-5 years?

The Spurs' unis are classic. You'll be able to look at pictures of them 30 years from now and not be embarrassed by how they look.

T Park

whats wrong with what they have??

Sure change it to like the Lakers and Pistons make of jersey.

But what would you change??? Thats just plain stupid.

That was around the time they were going to change their nickname to the "San Antonio Satanic Amulets", wasn't it?

:lol

BTW, that website (www.logoserver.com) is CLASSIC. The page with the never used logos is great. Just an example, here's one that the 76ers never used (wonder why?):

However, you'll be glad to know that all that artistic work didn't go to waste, as the logo was subseqeuntly bought for use in a chain of sex-toy stores.

You might have answered your own question.

But seriously, I think the logo might have been a concept, but never really considered.

Technically if we were messing with the classics...we'd be messing with the ones that say San Antonio on the front rather than Spurs.

I agree

the black jersey with the black lettering outlined in silver or white, was awesome.

When they wore em in 97 those were great looking.

I agree, bring those back as an alternate, or road jersey, whatever, but it would be great to see em.
