Ok ladies and gents....so far the Lake show is 23-11 on pace to win 55 games or so....not to get to ahead of myself but barring injuries we will take the pacific.

Lakers lead the WC in point differential:
Celtics - 12.2 :wtf
Pistons - 9.5
Lakers - 6.8
Spurs - 6.1
Suns - 5.9
Mavericks - 4.9
Jazz - 4.2

Against the East, they are +5.5
Against the West, they are +7.65
(you take away the beatdowns we received by the Celtics :pctoss we are around 9.6 against the east)

Lakers also lead the west in victories by a 20 point margin:
Boston 10
Detroit 8
Lakers 8
Phoenix,Spurs, Dallas each have 3

15-5 record VS the West........

True...they are going to win out...ok seriously I remember last year when we started 26-13 but our point diff was like 1.5...plus we had a crazy easy schedule in 06. Still the barometer is the 9 game road trip coming soon. If we survive that, we'll be in good shape, hopefully the #2 seed..... :)

I wanna ask Lakers fans if you guys think Fisher is an important part of your team's success so far. I always think so because He brings veteran leadership, passing, and shooting to the table, but other fans i asked think that Fisher is old and washed-up.

Fisher is very important to this teams success. Our team was in big time need of veteran leadership and outside shooting. He may not be as effective in an up-tempo offense, but he's very effective in the triangle. It also helps that we have a nice young player like Farmar to back him up.

He's been more of a difference than anyone on the lakers save for mabye Bynum. I've been pining for his return ever since he left Gstate. On my NBA2k games I always trade for him. Does he make mistakes, yes, is he an elite point...no, but for the Lakers he's co-Mvp. Regardless of scoring, his leadership and poise has been the difference...oh and having Odom as the 3rd option is amazing.

What would you expect from highest winning percentage franchise in NBA history? They didn't get that way for nothing. The Lakers are only doing what they are supposed to do. :p:
