Three defensive standouts didn’t earn a national position ranking, while an All-American on offense, K-State’s Nelson, couldn’t even nab a scholarship coming out of high school.

this is true. it's virtually impossible for a school like USC, Florida State, Notre Dame, or Texas to get a low ranked recruiting class because many of the players are ranked high simply due to that school's interest.

but the facts are that colorado is ranked a little more than 10 spots ahead in recruiting with 7 less recruits than OSU.

I didn't make any baseless accusations, I reiterated what has been stated on many publications and it's common knowledge that his mother was telling him to play at CU. I just think it's funny as hell that an 18 yr old kid is going to go somewhere because his mommy made him.

Ive read and heard on the recruiting ESPN special that his mom was telling him to go to CU because his uncle is there and its closer to home. Seems like a fairly plausible thing to me, not a baseless accusation. Of course, I don't know if he wanted to go there anyway without his mom chiming in.
