Where so you rank this Cowboy lose all time? To me it is #1. To have the #1 seed, 12 pro-bowlers, the come back player of the year and loose at home is ridiculous. People may say the losses to the 49ers in the playoffs or the super bowl loses to Pittsburg, but at last those teams made it to the championship game or the Super Bowl

This team stopped playing the minute Brett Favre got hurt in November. Have played like crap ever since (including the remainder of THAT game). Before that, they were the real deal - then they took it for granted.

BTW - Worst Loss?

The NFC championship game that ended with "The Catch".

Losing to the Cardinals in the playoffs because, well, it's the fuckin' Cardinals...

I don't know about that -- that Cowboys team had been beaten badly in SF earlier that season (45-14) and was playing a championship game on the road. Hardly a bad loss, even if it was a heartbreaking loss.

In recent history, I'd think the home loss to Arizona in 1998 was a pretty bad one. Being shut out by the Rams in 1985 was a pretty bad loss, too, given that the Rams were completely shut down by the Bears the following week.

Losing 44-0 to the 85 Bears will be the worst to me. They won the NFC East that year and were a decent team and the Bears just killed them.

What gets me is seeing Jerry Jones standing there in shock. Seeing the old man staring off in utter disappointment makes a Cowboys playoff loss seem more tragic than any other team's.
He pays these boys millions to get it done.
Bottom line-
They didn't get it done.

Nothing makes me happier than to see Jerry Jones lose. Get rid of the dumbass and I actually might like the Cowgirls.

Enjoy the offseason Jerry!

Well if the Cowboys had me to cheer for em back then maybe they would have won it! Super Bowl 43 here we come!

You know I like older men and that Brett Favre is a sexy beast. I hope he wins this Super Bowl!!! :spin

the lions loss was bad too.

Still the Lions last post-season win. And their only post-season win since 1958.

That was a horrible loss. Nothing but choke all the way around. This is very, very bitter. So bitter I'm done with sports watching until NBA playoffs in April. Or maybe March Madness. Adios bitches. Go fuck yourselves. I'm done.

the worst loss in in recent history was the Week 2 loss vs. the Redskins two seasons ago. The game when the triplets were being inducted into the Ring of Honor and Santana Moss burned us for two quick TDs in the last five minutes to win it for Washington 14-13.

I seriously fell into a deep depression after that one. At that time there was no Romo. There was no hope in sight. Only Bledsoe.
