For West Virginia, both Slaton and Reynaud will be missed, but not as much as people may think. Slaton really underachieved this year, and his backup - Devine - is billed as being a lot quicker/fastet than Slaton. I'm thinking Slaton knew this to some degree, and realized he wouldn't get as many touches - especially with White getting all the press. Reynaud was decent, but in this offense, any better-than-average WR will work. What WVU needs next year is to fill some gaps on defense more than anything.

and the fact that they won't even know their own players because Rich Rod distroyed all the personal player profiles before he left. What a dickhead move, Michigan has themselves one classy coach.

Manningham and Arrington saw the light and got the hell out of there

I thought this act was common following a coaching move.

it's not his property, he can't do that, and no coaches usually don't do that. All it does is make it harder for his old assistants to take the program over.

I don't buy this. So raging assholes like Todd Graham and Bobby Petrino didn't take all their records with them when they effed over Rice and Louisville? Or destroy their files?

they are not personal files for the coach. They are player profiles with things such as medical history, workout stats, academic history, everything related to players. It's not like they can't replace them, but they have been compiled since they started recruiting the player, and it's a bitch to do. It's just making it a harder transition for the new coach there.

If it's true that's a dick move by RR.

Yeah. People are now starting to see what a no class act this guy truly is.

Who is a class act among college coaches? They're all pretty bad. It's a ruthless profession. At least on the major I-A level, they all cheat. They all violate NCAA rules. They're all cut throat about shit. Even the best coaches that get the most praise, they do some underhanded shit all the time. All of them.

Haven't seen too many burn as many bridges as Rich has, though. Michigan better hope they continue to pamper him, or he'll have a hissy fit there, too.

Al Groh doesn't cheat, but his teams suck.

Branden Albert will be missed.
