Channeling Robert Stack: Residents of Stephenville, Texas are staring ominously at the night skies after several dozen reports of UFO sightings last week. Witnesses -- including a pilot -- all claim they saw what appeared to be a massive craft with strange flashing lights, traveling lower and faster than an airplane. Others say they spotted jet fighters chasing after the object.

As expected, federal officials say there is a "logical explanation," such as light reflecting off passing planes, for the Jan. 8 incident. But residents of this town, about 60 miles southwest of Fort Worth, remain unconvinced. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts," pilot Steve Allen was quoted as saying.

Whatever the explanation, maybe the Minutemen can switch some of their focus from illegal aliens to extraterrestrial ones -- at least until things calm down.

I'm too lazy to go back and look but I'm pretty sure somewhere near Dallas Ft Worth there is a Texas Instruments lab with underground facilities. Rumored to be a primary facility for reverse engineering Alien technology. That could possibly explain some of the shit that goes on around there.

The only UFO sighting over the DFW Metroplex would be if they shot the O'Brien from Sherman to Duncanville.

So with all the cell phone cameras and minicams in this world not one of these yokels got any kind of shot of the "UFO" ? Funny how that always happens.

You don't always have enough time to pull the camera out.

That said...in the history of UFO sightings, there's gotta be ONE time where someone caught some convincing video footage. But they haven't (or I haven't seen it).

My opinion, it's just some high-tech goverment shit, and they're lying to cover it up b/c they don't want people (other countries?) to know they have that technology. That makes more sense to me then aliens.

Man of all the UFO sightings this one has to be some of the most convincing evidence. Public aviation records confirmed 10 jets chasing something going extraordinary faster. After the ufo agencys put it all together the government no longer made available these types of public aviation records. Crazy

The problem I have with this ...they came from outer space....is just how far they would have to come. Highly unlikely they are coming from our solar system. I can believe we aren't the only ones but have a hard time buying others are coming here from distances that far away.

Our minds cannot understand the means of transportation they use to get here from light years away. Time is space and space is time, so I'd imagine it was almost time travel so to speak.

Technically, all travel is time travel.

100 years ago people were still riding horses in most places. Look how far we've come. Its not even a blink of an eye in time. Imagine another life form that have been established for a few hundred or even thousands of years. Maybe even with bigger brains. Its possible and its out there but we just cant comprehend it. Can you imagine two cave talking 50000 years ago and one telling the other we one day would put a robot on Mars? They would sound like Avante **puff puff give ;)**

Ironic how dumb that statement is, isn't it?That statement was made some 5 years and if you couldn't detect the subtle note of sarcasm based on the outlandish nature of the topic being discussed then you should look in the mirror when contemplating the irony of dumb.

I don't see what the length of time passed has to do with anything and if that was indeed sarcasm, it was minutely subtle. Apologies if I missed the intent of low flying subtlety.
