We just can't ever seem to make the plays down the stretch of games. You can practically book this shit.

Does anyone remember those good old days when we used to win close games?

The Spurs could be looking at a possible 3 or 4-game losing streak they have a losing record on the road:

@Houston....LOSS
@Charlotte....tossup likely loss (they have beaten pretty good teams)
vs, LA Lakers....LOSS (Kobe will not be denied)

Nah, that's happened too. Folks who have followed the NBA for more than four years have seen it.

Nah, I've just been a fan longer than LeBron has been in the NBA.

The Spurs suck at some point every season. It hasn't been a very reliable barometer of their postseason performance. Anyway I'm not such a weak person that my life is going to be ruined if the Spurs don't repeat, and I'm certainly not the kind of douche that trolls opposing teams' forums because my life is devoid of any other purpose.

You mean the time where we didnt win any championships?

Closing was never a strength of ours, but so far it hasn't devastated us in the postseason cept for 04 and 06, but you cant win em all.

I really hope Spurs go on a 10 game losing streak and fall to 9th place in conference. Then they will finally wake up and kick some ass

I can't help but notice that none of the seasoned Spurstalkers seem to be hitting the shower rod.

Well, except Sequ of course.

But it wouldn't be January without that.

Of all people, I can't believe this from a Cav fan. Have you already forgotten how it played out last year? Didn't they "remind" you of it on 2 or 3 occassions last night..

Reg season: Cavs 2....Spurs 0

Finals: Spurs 4....Cavs 0

No one in this league should let their RS record vs Spurs, give them any insight as to how they will matchup come playoff time. IIRC it's not just the Cavs that have had a winning record vs Spurs in RS, only to be owned come playoff time.

I hate when the Spurs lose, but I am more comfortable right now during this dry spell than I was when they were 17-3.
