A plane has crashed in Southeast Bexar County.

The plane went down on New Sulpher Springs Road, inside Loop 1604, south of Highway 87. Reports indicate the plane is a medium-sized passenger plane.

News 4 has a crew on the way and will provide additional details as they come available.

Better hope its not a Private plane carrying Spurs players.

I seriously doubt the Spurs would fit in a "medium-sized passenger plane".

Only the pilot was on board, and he's dead.

Damn...that's crazy.

I don't know where 87 is, but 1604 / Stone Oak is my neck of the woods. =/ Scarily close.

Actually, not really -- if you're at 1604/Stone Oak, the crash was at least a 30 minute drive away from you (probably longer).

I have no clue where 87 is. =/

But if it's off of 1604 it can't be a 30 minute drive.

When I heard 'medium-sized' I thought the plane would be bigger.

It was a 5 passenger plane.

You've obviously never driven all the way around 1604.

Takes at least an hour and 15 mins, depends on traffic, time of day, weather and how many Sherriffs need to improve their"proficiency rating" aka ticket quotas. :lol

Refer back to the map I posted... I once drove an Ambulance from Fair Oaks Ranch(upper left quadrant of map) to Somerset(lower left quadrant of map) in 26 mins.
