While I think tlong is a little overboard at the moment, if Oden comes back ready to play this team this team could win a championship in 2-3 years time. They've got an owner with deep pockets, they've drafted very well, Nate's a hell of a coach. The only thing missing from the mix is experience. They'll get a little this year, maybe add some vets.

I won't lie. I think a little part of me might be getting on the Blazers bandwagon.

why don't you worry about your franchise repeating before you crack jokes about the rox, k so stfu :smokin

Losing by 2 points to said rockets this past Saturday after having the rox miss 3 key FTs down the stretch, practically begging you guys to take it and they still lost.
struggling to beat an 8 win team by 1 point tonight and getting your first win against a team with a winning record in over a MONTH against the Fakers yesterday..........the spurs are well on their way to repeating :rolleyes

I think you should just STFU period. Your franchise is an absolute joke right now. Tell us to worry about repeating?? DO SOMETHING relevent in the playoffs for once this decade then maybe you can say something. I don't give a crap about losing to the Rockettes in the regular season. You really want to be known for something then beat us or any significant team for that matter in the playoffs.

They're good. Real good and for real, but they're not gonna win the title. There are more experienced teams in the West that can take them out.

DazedAndConfused

I think any fan who just expects their team to be able to just turn it on midway through the season is setting themselves up for disappointment. It doesn't always happen.

I'm not saying the Spurs won't pickup their play, it's just gonna be a lot harder to repeat that 20-2 closeout with Parker not 100% and Barry out. Especially considering how much better the WC is this year.

I can easily see a team like NOH running away with that #1 seed simply due to the fact that they have managed to stay relatively healthy compared to the other top teams in the WC.

San Antonio beat Minnesota by 1. Hou wins by 6.

San Antonio beat Cleveland by 7. Hou wins by 8 and 15.
San Antonio beat New Orleans by 9. Hou wins by 20.

I'm impressed by the TrailBlazers, that's a fine, fine team even without Oden. Next year, they're going to be a load to handle.

Lamarcus Aldridge, Outlaw, Webster and Roy can ball. I've never seen such a long, athletic team that can actually shoot. Usually atheletic teams are a bunch of dunkers that brick anywhere outside of 5 feet.

They're going to contend for years. They ain't going to win it all this year or next year. But in 2 years, they can easily be in the WCFinals.
