Fred Thompson has pulled out the presidential race.....not that he was really ever in it. Now he can get back to that hot wife of his or start his campaign for VP.

Oh, Gee!!

So will McCain, until Thompson throws his support behind the AZ senator. It'll be interesting to see this thing develop.

Ron Paul--setting 'em up and knocking 'em down, one by one. :lol

Guiliani is next to go when he completely fails in Florida.

So the next Ronald Reagan has bitten the dust?!?!

Looking more like media darling Saint John McCain or Brigham Romney.

How long will Huckabee last?

I don't think Guiliani's NASCAR stunt did him any good. :lmao

How long will Huckabee last?

Until Feb 5th, then we'll see.

He's trying to do as much national campaigning while he still has the money to justify it....going to Feb 5th states and even making a pit stop in Texas, a post-Feb 5th state, I understand.

I think if he fails to make a good showing in Florida it will be tough for him to continue.

As this electoral process narrows, voters will have to look towards electability and running against a strong Democrat. Huckabee's appeal to evangelical Christians will only carry him so far in the general election.

I concur. It looks more and more like a McCain vs Clinton brouhaha.

Eh, Ron Paul is still in? I hear he may run third party if he keeps getting the stiff arm from the GOP faithful. Ralph Nader said he will make up his mind in less than a month as to whether he would run or not. Finally, Bloomberg keeps dropping his hankie and only a pliant media keeps trying to pick it up.

Run Ron Run!!! Help the Democrat back into the White House.

Somewhere, TPark weeps. Personally, I think Thompson was never on the campaign trail at all. They just stood up cardboard cutouts, and played MP3s from Law and Order. That whole campaign thing was just TOO much work for ol' Fred, kinda like those late Senate votes.

People will just shake their heads.

There aren't very many who will vote republican that agree with Thomson that will vote for McCain.

I am not sure who Fred will endorse. I am not sure McCain has
the nomination in the bag. Right now Romney has twice as many
delegates as McCain. And McCain only has 8 more than Huckabee.
Of course Huckabee is out of money......it is still a long way
to convention time and I am not sure there will be a clear cut
winner when it comes around. Could be a real interesting
convention. Both parties.

Aah, a brokered convention.....allowing Newt Gingrich to make himself available as a compromise candidate without the nasty vetting of a bunch of primaries. :lol

Romney is losing it slowly. His "who let the dogs out" and "bling-bling" comments were ridiculous.

Man, I laughed my ass off when I heard Romney say "Who let the dogs out." It wasn't racist or anything, just a really silly old-man thing to do.

I'm surprised he didn't bust out the Arsenio Hall fist pump.
