28 and 13 is a fine start in a tough league and more importantly Spurs seem to have put the rough stretch of their year behind them. They have only 7 losses with the top three playing and with Ime coming along they remain the team to beat.

Most importantly, Duncan is back being the best big in the league and with his motivation and play the sky is the limit for this club.

Final record will be 58 and 24 +/- 2 games, and 2nd in West to the Suns.

Spurs have also played more WC games than most WC powers and that is another good thing.

We're on pace for 56-26 yet we're 11-10 on the last 21. Sweet. :smokin

Given injuries and such, 28-13 is really solid thus far.

parker has a really messed up heel

hopefully it goes away before playoff time, but his explosiveness is def. lacking

and I shudder at the thought of TP having to resort to his jumper

So we can expect a successful rodeo road trip? It would be nice to get that win Saturday night before they head out! Regardless, we still have to send them out in style!

Yeah ok.

Ya know, it wouldn't hurt for you once to have confidence in the damn team.

You've ripped on Parker for years, hes gotten a semi reliable jumper and you still bag on him.

Dunno what else he has to do...

actually I've been pretty gentle with him this year (as with the Spurs as a whole)

I think he's improved vastly season to season.

However, I have no faith in his jumper whatsoever.

I also understand he's sick and is having nagging injuries so I'm not gonna rip on the guy, but it's no secret he's at his most effective when he's attacking the rim.

I'm sure parker will improve as his health hopefully gets better, but I cringe every time he shoots outside of 5 feet.

I wonder if the Spurs are re-thinking only having 2 PG's this year, with parker possibly in need of some time off to heal his heal. Now Barry is hurt too, so he can't cover point guard duty. But at least the Spurs could play Ginobili as a Pg some if Parker goes out for awhile.

Im sure they would like to have a 3rd point guard, they would also like someone to point them in the direction of a good one.

The thing I am most concerned with is the defense.

We may be allowing a low PPG avg, but I always remember Pop harking on opponents FG%, which I think is too high too often. It is not typical Spurs' "D". Granted, it was similar last year in many ways, I am hoping it picks up like it did last year.
