If you are a regular season ticket holder, how much do the prices of your tickets jump for the playoffs ? This is my first year having season tickets so I was just wondering how much I should plan on spending here....yeah yeah...I am assuming they'll make the playoffs. I think I'm safe in that assumption.

I have been a 10-game pack ticket holder for 5 years, so here it goes.

If you have a 25 game pack or a full ticket, then you can reserve the seat you are in. If you have a 10-game ticket then you can reserve a upper level seat.

The actual price per ticket is not that much higher than what you are paying now, the catch is that by the end of February you have to commit to and pay for 16 playoff tickets per seat.

That is home court advantage, 7-game series, for four rounds. Any games that are not played earns you a credit on your account and can be refunded during the summer or applied to next year.

So, say your seat is $50 and you have 2. By the end of February you would pay the Spurs $1600 plus parking for your right to your seats for the playoffs.

What about the games that don't happen or they get bounced in the first round ? You do get refunded what isn't played, right ?

Ok so is roughrider or T-park right. Are the ticket prices relatively the same or do they go up each round ?

Okay, this will make it easier. I have two seats for the season. They are $26.35 face value. How much money do I have to come up with by Feb 29 (using both seats ).

Dunno how much youll pay, but they do go up each round.

Pretty significant jump from the second round to the West Finals, and VERY big jump West jump to the NBA Finals

Thanks all. I'll call my rep monday. I would not be happy about paying $100 on a $26 ticket for the playoffs. My sales rep told me when I purchased them there was a 'slight' increase during the playoffs. It was a selling point he used. 400% is not a 'slight' increase.

They won't be 400%.

I believe a $26 ticket would be $40 something in the WCF and $50 something in the Finals.

The face value of the ticket changes with each round. Your ticket will sell for about $40 in the 1st round, $50 in the second round, $60 in the third round, and $80 in the Finals.

However the price you pay for the ticket will average around $45 to $50 per ticket x 4 games per round x 4 rounds. Or at a $45 average it will run $1,440 plus parking up front.

Any games that are not played will be credited back to your account.

You can post your tickets for sale at up to 300% of ticket price at spurs.com. However in the early rounds extra tickets tend to be plentiful, so it may be hard to unload them at much or a profit if that is your desire. However, if the Spurs make it to the 3rd or 4th round, then the tickets are well worth the investment.
