i keep hearing good things about cc but i dunno what it is exactly.

i use adaware free version to clean up tracking cookies and stuff.

ccleaner cleans out all the old registry entries that get left behind from old programs, stuff that usually never gets deleted and can just build up and cause problems. it's good to use both programs.

Spybot Spysweeper AdAware -- why would you need more than one?

i got a new laptop and i got AVG antivirus, and AdAware, now CCleaner too and yeah it does work nicely.

Finally found a prog to rip youtube videos off so I can save them. Nows me got all the Halo commercials and live action clips from the movie that were prolly just test runs.

This question is like asking should I use cologne or mouthwash. You need them both, unless your batman or DannyT and you have more ho's than a Snoop Dog.
I would used them both.

CCleaner doesn't look for serious spyware does your cleaning lady check your mail to see if your getting letters you don't need?

Or does the security guard at work clean the toilets?

You can use Ewido for spyware.

A friend of mine I met at Berkly College worked for them and told me awhile back they joined up with AVG after they seen how good the program really worked they scooped them up.

Use this to see how much your PC needs a tune up.
