When will the Spurs get back on track?

Not any time soon.

When Parker is healthy, if at all.

This is finally the season that age has caught up with us.

12 points between Vaughn, Bowen, and Finley, come on its Seattle.

Our bench is just God awful.

They will get back on track. Slumps never last forever. They're old, they're banged up, but they're experienced. They will pull through this, there's still plenty of time to be right for the playoffs.

I will not give up on this team.

Can Parker one make a big difference, we need some young legs, and more scoring, from the guards.

A bench with Ginobili, Barry and Udoka is pretty good I'd say. Unfortunately Barry and Parker are injured

What's sad is that 6 of those points came from a slumping Finley.

Now the Spurs are seeing the meat of their schedule. I predict a Spurs record from this next upcoming 10 games as 4-6 cause a lot of these are road games. It's not pretty. I can honestly say I think the Spurs should beat the Knicks, Wizards, and Minnesota. The rest of em are up in the air.

Up next
Phoenix A
Indiana A
Washington A
New York A
Boston A
Toronto A
Cleveland A
Charlotte H
Minnesota A
New Orleans H

Next year.

Too many FO mistakes.

Way too many.

There are hungrier teams around.

If there's one factor that's caused this, it may be Barry's injury. That seemed to cause a chain of small adjustments that add up to the mess we see now. My concern is that Barry may be done (at least for this season). If Udoka or Finley or Bowen or all three don't step up huge, the Spurs may be in trouble the rest of the way.

Still, I won't believe it until I see it -- this team has a ton of pride and they still have a lot to play for.

Everything clicks when Parker can explode into the key, both in his own game (it opens up his jumper), and for the team (lots of layups and open corner 3s).

Barry is also missing, and that hurts more than most people realise.

Yes, now would be the perfect time to again go over why the Suns are in such bad shape. :hungry:

The Spurs will repeat if:

1. TP and Barry come back 100% healthy for the post season
2. If the Spurs reach the post season....

I think we are too old for this league, to slow and teams are prepared to face Spurs, beside we aren't playing well in many situations.

I would ask for another PG (KIdd :p: ) to develop more TP and some good Shooting guy and if the supermarket is still open a big boy wouldn't hurt.

While not having Parker doesnt help, thats not a good enough reason on why the Spurs cant get it together. They still have their superstar in Duncan and Manu. Remember 1998 when Pippen missed the first 35 games? Sure they struggled but Jordan got them through it during his absence. While Duncan isnt Jordan, he is more than capable of pulling this team together and getting them to play better.

Spurs will get back on track when our role players play to their potential...If role players play like the way they play now, soon opponents will start double & triple team our stars more consistently and this team will face more horrible time such as Manu's physical break down (already playing more minutes than Manu/Pop would have liked), more and more defense & frustration on Duncan etc.

Spurs will be back on track when they start playing some defense!!! Spurs never were a really big offensive team, it was the team who could be for 3 or 4 minutes without scoring but the defense kept them on game. You can watch now that any team scores big against the spurs, specially in the first quarter. We want D fence back!!!!

I didn't know this many idiots could exsist at one point in time.

Let's go ahead and attempt to use logic.

The Spurs were playing great basketball 2 months ago. The playoffs begin in late April. So, that gives us 3 months to get our shit in line. That is more than enough time. Tony needs to rest for the next 2-4 weeks. Get everyone healthy by March and the Spurs will be fine. Guys, we only need to win 16 games in the postseason. I'd much rather have our slump now, work through this shit, than dealing with it later on.
It's actually a blessing that it is happening now, not later. HAVE A LITTLE FAITH. Really. Some of you guys are simply pathetic.
