I love Vista but from what I hear it causes problems for people who upgrade to it. Mine came with it.

Gnome > KDE

Gnome is so buggy. I've always been able to crash Nautilus by opening a folder with a lot of thumbnails, and many times it will die and not restart in a usuable state (so you have to go in and manually edit the .config files.) I like the way it looks and all, but KDE is light years ahead in stability. The only thing Gnome has going for it is the much better selection of games it comes with vs. those KDE has.
