Houston had a 47-35 record, came into the playoffs as the 6th seed.

They won it all.

They also swung a huge trade for Drexler. But hey, it can be done.

Good point, only thing is.....we're still 28-16 right now! At this point last yr. after Jan 31st we had just lost to Utah and had a record of 32-15. Only 1 loss less! And we didnt have all these injuries piled up on us last yr. like this yr and we still have the same record just about! We can't be jumping off the cliff now! C'mon guys....everybody is worried including myself but this is how we like it....under the radar...let the Celtics, Suns, and Mavs get all the hype. We know what its REALLY about. This team hasnt played a full month together HEALTHY. We saw just a little glimpse against the Lakers with Barry back in full form, when Tony and Barry come back we will be just fine!

A veteran team doesn't need homecourt or a top seeding.

I thought about that Houston team, too, recently...

But, seriously....THE FUCKING SONICS????

Something is wrong.

There's losses like this every yr. around this time....we all know that....every yr. we've said....THE FUCKING CLIPPERS, or HAWKS, or any other crappy team. Nothing new...The title comes through San Antonio and until somebody beats us 4 out of 7 times we're still the DAMN CHAMPIONS.

Houston lost to Seattle 4 times in 94-95!

This is great news!

I still have hard feeling about the 94-1995 Spurs. That should have been our first title.

Does 47 wins make the playoffs in the west this year?

I doubt every team in the west is going to end up with 50 or more wins. Its eventually going to cool down. Some of these teams are flukes out there that will eventually hit the wall. I just don't know when.
