View Full Version : Timmy is still the BEST player in the NBA

And games like tonight prove it. Suns double and triple team him all night so he goes out and dominates this game on defense and on the boards, especially in the 2nd half. Handed out 7 assists and hit the winning FG tonight. From his leadership, to his presence to his versatility, he is still the BEST. :toast

Actually his last two fouls were retarded.
Not only the one that sent Amare to the line for the 2 + 1 attempt.

Also after Nash missed the final trey Duncan fouled Amare on the putback attempt! :downspin: :drunk :nope

He did not touch Amare there enough for a foul, BULLSHIT call and he was getting no calls at all on the other end all night long.

Someone tell Amare nomatter how bad he cuts his hair, it won't scare people away from attacking his SHITTY defense.

All the more reason to not foul Amare after the final Nash trey miss. Game was over, two pointer meant nothing there, no reason to try to stop it and give the ref(s) any BS fodder to call 2 + 1 for miracle tie.

Thats good to hear in a way. I recorded and so far have watched the last 5 min only.
The post said the Spurs reeked in the 1st half.

Amare's legacy will be that he put up some good numbers on offense, played ZERO defense and ultimately played in the shadow of an insanely overated White Canadian.

It's too bad Duncan has to hold down the entire frontline by himself - with little to no help from Oberto, Elson, Bonner and Horry.

Oh Melvin Ely. Where are you when we need you most?

Almost.

I'm married, but I'm a woman. (Try putting your mouse over the second spur under my user name. :))

My husband doesn't mind, he's quite patient with my Duncan love, but I prefer to keep my collection stashed.

Manu was asked after the 2005 championship if he didn't feeel that it was unfair that the finals MVP trophy was not shared and he said " when the best basketball player in the world comes and tells you in the ear 'this one should have been yours' there's no trophy that could match that" TD will retire with no less than 6 rings... book it!

Without question Tim Duncan is the MVP in this league. He does it all on both ends. Without him the Spurs would have lost their last 20 games.

This is coming from a Laker fan too.

Robert Horry still scares the **** out of me when he enters the game. He could not play for the whole season and pop in a game winner in Game 7 of the Finals.

Without question Tim Duncan is the MVP in this league. He does it all on both ends.

He is the MVP in my eyes every season.
Without him the Spurs have no Championships.
He does so much that never shows in boxscores or highlight reels. At the end of the day all he does is win.

I've used every adjective I know to describe him over the years, I'm pretty much tapped out of words.

He is simply amazing.

You win championships with dominant bigmen. Shaq, Hakeem, Duncan, Kareem, etc. It's no coincidence.

That's why we are so amped about Bynum. If he can become even half of what Duncan is now we are in a good position to win some rings.

No need to worry, I'll happily stay on my side of the line.

I guess it shouldn't surprise us anymore that people mistake me for a man...Look at all the man-love going on in here for Duncan. I'm just one of the guys. :lol
