Why are we called STERNS on a Suns Fan Board?

You're kidding, right?

b/c they feel Stern is biased towards us as a result of ComeOffTheBench-gate in case you're not.

The only reason we ever win a championship is because of Stern. It's not like we have a good team or anything.

I love their conspiracies. What they don't realize is that game was only a setback, not a series decider, and that their inability to defend their home court was the decider, not some suspensions. The Spurs actually have a BETTER record on PHO's homecourt (7-2) in the 2003, 2005, 2007 playoff series than they had on their own homecourt (5-3). To think that if PHO were to extend the series to seven games that they WOULD win game seven at home is the absolute HEIGHT of unsupported arrogance.

It's because the 2nd-smallest tv market in the nba's continued success is in the best interests of the league.

I was reading phxsuns.net the other day too.

It's funny watching them bitch about the refs thinking they got a bad shake when Spur fan saw the refs make shitty calls towards the Spurs all night too.

Oh well. We are winner. They are loser. And we will finally decide the better once and for all come playoff time this year.

If Spurs knock them out this year it will be the dagger in D'Antonio's Sun's career.

I'm glad I'm nowhere close to being a basketball player, let alone in the NBA, because if I were playing against the Spurs right now, I'd hop off the bench, give a BIG punch to Ginobilli in the face knocking him unconscious, get suspended by the league, get sued, go to jail.....

But at least I'd get a shot at the Flopper, and I may become a hometown hero!

This game is a prelude to the playoffs. Unfortunately, it appears the Spurs still have our number.

Dont they have a guy named Raja Bell and isnt he a flopper?

Sterns was given to the Spurs a while back by some Laker trolls IIRC

Vinny, you work for the Suns... maybe you should show some respect.

Is there only 1 TV in all of San Antonio?

I think Manu is one of the most hated players in the NBA. In both games against the Jazz and Suns they were booing him like crazy. Oh and add the Nuggets on to that too.

It's funny that their fans think the Spurs are a dirty team, yet this is their solution. I'm sure they don't even see the irony...

You tend to talk crazy when you've had a Spur stuck up your ass for the past couple years.

I used to BOO Shaq and the Lakers all the time when they owned us, It is a good thing when they boo Manu, for us anyway. They hate him because they want what he has, championships! Jealousy is a bitch!

Booing an opposing player every time he touches the ball keeps an idle mind active.

Yeah! Don't worry, the Spurs are no threat to your ratings championship.

The only guy I've ever booed when he touched the ball is Juwan Howard, and I do it every single time I go to a game he's in. He cost my team a championship; it's the least I can do. I always explain it to everyone around me so it becomes kind of a joke the three times he gets the ball in a game.

So now, being entertaining is better than winning championships?

I'd like to think otherwise.

Maybe we should call them the Phoenix Nones...since that's how many Championships they have.

I'd much rather get a real title, to be honest. I'm disappointed with how we lost that game on Thursday, but it was only a regular season game and I hope they bounce back and learn from it.
