Colts lost Super Bowl III but that was when they were in Baltimore.

The Indianapolis Colts took care of business when they went to the big game.

I'm a Bills fan first and Vikings fan second so I've seen my teams make the Superbowl at least. :)

This is wrong. The Pats have now lost 3 SBs. Not 2.

Yeah, but the point of the topic was for the 4 teams who are batting a 1000 in the Super Bowl. The Pats don't speak to this. I'll get you the updated stats tomorrow with the Giants .750 and the Pats .500

The Houston Oilers were never defeated in the Super Bowl and that's something that can never be taken away from them.

I'm not really a true fan of any team but if I have to pick one it's the Bills just because I grew up among a ton of Bills fans. And you all know how that went... The Scott Norwood miss in 1991 sent grown men into tears at the SB party I was at in high school. Depressing as hell.

In the past 40yrs No team has won more NFC Championships than the Cowboys, NO team has won more SBs than the Cowboys & No team has been to the SB more than America's team. :smokin

Two teams have just as many Super Bowls as the Cowboys.

The Cowboys haven't been in the NFC Championship or Super Bowl since the '95 season.

Since the Cowboys were last in the Super Bowl, 16 different teams have made the Super Bowl. Four of those teams made the Super Bowl twice, and one team, the Patriots, made it to the SB four times.

Two teams from the NFC East have made the Super Bowl since the Cowboys last appeared in it. The Giants twice and the Eagles once. In those three games they managed to lose the Super Bowl less times than the Cowboys.

America's Team has returned to relevance. Just not in the way you'd think.

All franchises go through up and downs throught their existance. Thats the nature of the game. But a respective team's down times, don't diminish what a team has accomplished. So the Cowboys have had a down period? What team hasn't? Im not beating my fandom horn here, but I think it would be safe to say that most teams in the NFL would trade their history for the kind of history/Legacy the Cowboys have had.

So someone now is claiming the franchise?
Not just when they weren't in Balto?

But not more. ;)

One interesting stat...

Of the 42 Super Bowl winners, 11 have come from the NFC East.

True. My hate for the cowboys is due mostly to their past success. And now that they are again successful I'll hate them some more. That's the way it is in sports.

My hate for the Cowboys started when a buddy of mine in middle school in Colorado decided he was going to start rooting for the Cowboys after years of rooting for the Broncos. Just so happens that this was shortly after their first of three super bowl wins in the 90's.

That's when I was first introduced to band wagon fans, and I haven't liked them, or the Cowboys since.
