Memo to Spurs fans, don't go crazy if this game is close for 3 1/2 quarters. The Pacers are great at that, rest assured they will fold down the stretch.

They won't listen.

I personally think they are a decent team and wouldn't be suprised if they did.

I'm so glad they're playing.
It's been a long 4 days.

I expect a win, but I don't expect a blow out.
They'll be rusty, out of sync. They'll have to play into some kind of rhythm.
It could be one of those frustrating grind it out games.
But they have to want this one to keep the momentum going in the right direction.

The Pacers guys aren't too bad, Chris Denari is pretty PC and Quinn Buckner and Clark Kellogg rotate doing the color. Clark is very fair and balanced. You might not like Quinn, he is a Pacer homer, but not as bad as a lot of the others.

RuffnReadyOzStyle

Pacers call is good so we can evaluate then Indiana okies! (and yes, I know "okie" refers to Oklahoma).

Time to kick some butt. This game will blow open late 3rd quarter methinks.

Hope Damon shows something.

PacerFan, I personally miss Kenny Albert doing the games.

Nothing beats though Slick Leonard "BOOM BABY"

Spent many a may there for the 500 and listened and watched Pacer games

THey before they turned into dysfunctional gangsters were my second favorite team.

Sorry, I didn't mean to bad mouth the Pacers callers. They're not as bad as a lot we get on LP.
It was just that after 4 days I would have liked the whole Spurs homer event with Sean. :)

The Spurs are playing fine except they are not closing out on 3-pt shooters properly. Watch them tighten that up in the 2nd.

Pacers will cool off. We are killing them inside.

Manu's shot has looked a bit off.

Tim and Oberto have been great inside.

Bruce has hit some shots - good to see. Udoka has done nothing yet.

JV and MM both playing pretty well.

I think Pop will blast them about not getting in the face of 3pt shooters, and the game will slow down in the 2nd half.

Well i guess that's because I haven't seen offense in the first half like this for weeks. Spurs put a lot of points of the board, but to be letting the Pacers shoot 67% and finish the half tied is not what I was after. DEFENSE! That is all I am interested in right now. I want the Spurs to get back into the season with defense. Do you think this is their defensive game plan to give the shooters shots? They could still hit those shots in the second half. Gotta play better D that what we're showing so far.

Do you live here in town, FWD?

I live in San Antonio, but my best friend lives in Indianapolis. He asked me to be his son's godfather and then scheduled the baptism to coincide with the Spurs' trip to Indy so that we could go see the game there together. He got us tickets through his employer, Finish Line, and those were the seats that were near Larry Legend. The fuzzy picture below is from those seats:

(tried to resize, but I'm incompetent!)

Through my buddy's father, who's a mover and shaker in the restaurant industry, we also got to sit courtside during the 3rd quarter of that game, in the 3rd and 4th seats in from the right side of the middle section across from the scorer's table.

Not leaving Murphy open at the 3, but leaving guys open from 17-21 feet is exactly what our system is designed to do! Cut off the layup, cut off the 3, make them beat you with mid range jumpers - few teams can do it, and none consistently. The Pacers have been hot, but that's not the fault of the D.
