View Full Version : Wasn't this a Bowen re-run vs. Lakers?

Am I wrong or did not Bowen go off for 25 plus in a playoff game a couple years back with 3 after 3? In fact, I thought it was against the Lakers at home but it could have been another team during the championship year (last)?

What is impressive now is that he has some range to his game.

Duncan scored 12 in that game too.

Your point = still dominating Spurs wins? Duncan had 15 boards and 3 blocks last night just did not shoot as the ball never reached him.

The difference in that game was Timmy was the guy kicking it out to Bruce instead of TP. Timmy had 7 assists. Plus Bruce made even more threes (7 for 8 from the arc).

Similar defense was played on Bruce, though. :smokin

I think it's pretty safe to say that once Rasho is named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history, wins an MVP, becomes a perennial all-star, and saves the franchise, he'll get a pass for putting up low numbers in short minutes in a head-to-head matchup with Shaquille O'Neal in a blowout playoff win.

Bowen clearly relishes playing the Lakers. I think he takes it as a personal challenge---"Can he stop Kobe?"---and flips it around, to "Can they stop ME?"
We all know his role is to anchor the defense, but sometimes people forget, this guy can shoot a bit, too.
